I expected this to feel a lot higher quality, especially for the price, but the ingredient list was a letdown. There was way more fragrance than I was hoping for, and some of it just felt kind of cheap to me.

After using it, my hair didn’t really feel any healthier either. It felt coated at first, then ended up feeling dry later, which was disappointing. Maybe it works better for other people, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it again.

I placed an order and had a question about my shipment, but customer service was just no help at all. I sent a couple emails and waited days without getting any real response. When someone finally did reply, it just felt like a copy-paste answer and didn’t actually fix anything. I do like some of the products, but dealing with the support side is just frustrating. I probably won’t order again if this is how they handle customers...

I still remember that sinking feeling when I picked up the box and saw it was crushed and half open. The stuff inside looked like it had been tossed around badly, and one of the items had leaked a little, which was really disappointing.
I know shipping problems can happen, but this just felt careless. For the price I paid, I expected the order to arrive packed safely and in decent condition.

Ordered from Design Essentials. Shipping was faster than I expected. Got my package in a few days, and tracking worked fine. No stress.
Only thing was the shipping email took a bit. I was wondering if the order went through. Still, it arrived fast. All good.

I got this thinking it would make detangling my hair easier, but it didn’t do much for me. My hair was still all knotty and hard to comb thru, and it took way longer then I wanted. Kinda frustrating...

I tried this frizz-control stuff hoping it would actually help, but my hair was still puffy and frizzy after using it. it felt like a waste of money. I won’t be buying it again.

The texture is good honestly. It goes on smooth and isn’t too thick or sticky, which I appreciate. That part worked well for me

I tried placing an order on designessentials.com, the site was kind of frustrating to use. Pages were loading slower than I expected, and it took me longer than it should have to find simple things. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day, but it felt clunky.
The menu wasn’t super clear to me, and my cart got a little confusing while I was trying to check out. I ended up giving up after a while, which was disappointing because I did want to buy something. It wasn’t the smoothest shopping experience, though I’m sure it could be better with a few site updates.

I’ve used Design Essentials products before and have generally had a good experience with them, so I came to the site looking for a few things I already knew I liked. Unfortunately, the main items I wanted were out of stock, and I couldn’t really find any clear info on when they’d be available again. I checked back a couple of times, but nothing changed, so I ended up ordering from another place. The products are good, but the availability and updates could definitely be better.

I used this while I had my braids in, and it helped my scalp feel a lot cleaner. It’s not like it completely replaces a real wash, but somehow it still made my hair feel fresher in between. I wasn’t expecting much, but I’d probably use it again.

My box showed up all crushed and it was leaking a bit, not great honestly

I wanted to like this, but the smell was just way too strong for me. It’s frustrating because it seemed fine otherwise, but the scent hit me immediately and smelled bad. Maybe some people won’t mind it, but I couldn’t get past it.

Tried this hoping my hair would stay soft for more than a day, but it was already feeling dry again by the next morning. Had to keep reapplying it, still didn't make much of a difference. For the price, expected way better moisture. Won't be buying again

I really wanted to like this, but after using it twice my scalp felt tight and itchy both times. Everyone’s skin reacts differently, of course, but I think it’s only fair to mention in case someone else has a sensitive scalp too

I ordered a few hair products from designessentials.com and when the package finally came, it wasn’t even what I picked, one bottle was the wrong kind and another item just wasn’t in the box at all, which was really annoying because I was actually waiting to use everything together.

I went back and checked my order confirmation email because I thought maybe I clicked the wrong thing, but nope, everything on there was right, so I have no idea how the order got mixed up on their end.

Customer service took way too long to get back to me and by the time they did I was already frustrated, it just turned into this whole hassle for stuff that should’ve been simple, so I don’t think I’ll be ordering from the site again...

Well... I returned my order weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the refund to come through. I’ve reached out to customer service a few times, but they just keep sending me the same generic reply, which is frustrating.
